SOMAHEART PLANT MEDICINE CEREMONY
SomaHeart ceremonies work with the sacred forest medicine. The profound effect of these powerful plants has many beneficial effects on the entire neuro-biological system. It has been used to successfully remedy symptoms of PTSD, addiction, depression and anxiety. By de-centralizing brain activity from the default mode network (which house perceptions of our identity and established belief systems), one is granted expanded awareness and new, heightened perceptions of subtle aspects of reality and the Self. The medicine portion of ceremony lasts approximately 6-8 hours.
What is Ceremony?
Ceremony is a sacred container set in place so that one can work safely with plant medicine with the intentions for spiritual growth and healing. Ceremonies are traditionally lead by a medicine carrier who has built a relationship with the medicine and knows how to communicate with the plants and spirits to help you navigate these mystical realms.
Sacred ceremony opens up clear, healthy channels for your prayers to be heard and intentions to be fulfilled. During the journey you are guided by the spirit of medicine and the medicine songs to take you into the depths of your being and to connect to Source. Ceremony assists deep healing of lingering trauma and blockages within the body and mind and also grants one access to deep spiritual truths and realizations regarding the nature of Self and Reality.
Our ancestors have been in ceremony with sacred plants such as these since the dawn of time and indigenous cultures across the globe continue these profound traditions to expedite the healing of themselves, of others, and the planet.
We prepare for these journeys by cleansing our bodies through diet, coming into deeper relationship with our emotions through meditation, restoring harmony throughout our entire system by connecting with nature daily, and clarifying and aligning with our highest intention through a journaling practice.
Following ceremony we have comprehensive integration support through group sharing, personalized coaching, and individual follow-ups with every participant 7-10 days following their experience.
