Medicine Song & Drum Circle/Fire Ceremony

Humans have been gathering in circle, drumming and singing since the very beginning; it's in our blood, it's in our bones, it's our human nature. We each have a drum in our chest, our heartbeat. When we were in the womb we were held by our Mother's heartbeat, and the sound of the drum connects us to the heart of our Great Mother Earth.

When we drum together, we unite our hearts.

When we sing together, our souls dance with one another. If weather permits we will be outside around the fire and include a fire ceremony for the song circle. I hold a playful space to share the songs I've come to learn over the years. I carry many songs from different traditions around the world; Yawanawa, Zimbabwe, Lakota, Sanskrit, Quechua, Mauri, Aztec… songs that offer prayers of blessings and gratitude to Mother Earth, invoke our Cosmic Essence, and sing to honor…
