The above images are photos taken by me during my visit with the Yawanawa in January 2020 where I had the privileelage of meeting the Kambo frog, Phyllomedusa Bicolor.

The journey of Kambo research began with the pioneering work of Italian scientist Vittorio Erspamer at the University of Rome. Nominated twice for a Nobel Prize, Erspamer not only discovered the neurotransmitter serotonin but also unveiled the extraordinary chemical composition of Kambo. He characterized it as a "fantastic chemical cocktail with potential medical applications, unequalled by any other amphibian."

His groundbreaking findings ignited significant interest in the field of peptides, which have since emerged as vital components in modern medicine. Below is a collection of articles and studies that explore the therapeutic potential of Kambo, highlighting its peptides and their implications for health and wellness.

It is important to recognize that numerous studies exploring the benefits of Kambo are often not published due to rejection by scientific journals. This can be attributed to the controlled nature of our medical system, where natural substances like Kambo may be viewed as competition for pharmaceutical companies that aim to synthesize, patent, and monetize various molecules and drugs. Consequently, much information may remain censored, yet anecdotal evidence continues to emerge, highlighting Kambo's applications for enhancing well-being and facilitating remarkable health transformations.
